Terms of service
The terms you are agreeing to.
Written to be read. The clauses that actually matter are 4, 6 and 9 — what the drawings may be used for, that the estimate is an estimate, and what we are liable for if something goes wrong.
01Who these terms are between
These terms are an agreement between you and [Registered business name] ([Sole proprietorship]), which operates One House Plan. They take effect when you send us your first message and continue for as long as you use the service.
02What we supply
A dimensioned floor plan for the plot you describe, free of charge. If you approve that design and pay, a complete drawing set: plans for every storey, a 3D view of each floor, the front elevation, an area statement and an itemised material estimate, delivered as a PDF.
03Price and payment

- Free
- Complete set
- ₹299, one time, per house
- When charged

Prices are in Indian rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken through a third-party gateway; we never see or store your card or UPI details.
04What the drawings may be used for
On payment you get a perpetual, non-exclusive right to use the drawings to build one house on the plot they were made for, and to show them to your contractor, engineer, architect, bank or municipal authority.
You may not:
- resell the drawings, or supply them as your own work to a third party;
- present them for statutory approval as though they were prepared by a licensed professional;
- use them for a different plot without telling us — the geometry will not fit.
We keep copyright in the drawings and in the software that produced them.
05What you are responsible for
The drawing is only as good as the plot you describe. You are responsible for giving us accurate dimensions, the correct road-facing direction, and any restriction on the land — an easement, a shared wall, a right of way, an existing structure. We take what you tell us at face value.
You are also responsible for checking the local building bye-laws that apply to your plot before you build.
06The estimate is an estimate
Quantities are counted from the drawing and priced at market rates for your region at the time the set is produced. Rates for steel, cement and labour move. The total is a sound figure to plan and negotiate with. It is not a quotation, it is not a tender, and it is not a guarantee of what your build will cost.
07Not a sanctioned drawing, not a structural design
Our set is a design and a costing. It is not approved by any municipal authority and we do not submit it for approval. Statutory sanction requires a registered engineer or architect to check, sign and file the drawings.
Structural design — foundations, columns, beams, reinforcement — is not included and must be obtained from a qualified structural engineer before construction.
08Changes, and when we may decline
You get 3 rounds of changes at no cost. Beyond that we may ask you to start a new design. We may also decline a request that is unlawful, unsafe, abusive, or that asks for a layout which cannot be built on the plot you have given us.
09Limits of our liability
We take care over the geometry and the arithmetic, but we cannot inspect your land, supervise your build or control your contractor. To the extent Indian law allows, our total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us for it.
We are not liable for construction costs, delays, demolition, rework, refusal of municipal approval, or loss of profit or opportunity. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.
10Availability
The service depends on WhatsApp and on other providers, and may be unavailable from time to time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service and we are not liable for interruptions outside our control.
11Refunds
Set out separately in our refund and cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.
12Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts having jurisdiction over [Street, City, District, State, PIN].
13Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
