What we collect, and what we do with it.

We collect only what the service needs to work:

• Your WhatsApp number and profile name, because that is the channel you contacted us on and how the drawings are delivered back to you.
• What you tell us about the house — plot size, facing, number of bedrooms and storeys, parking, and any preferences such as Vastu.
• The conversation itself, so that when you ask for a change we know what you are changing.
• The drawings and estimates we produce for you, so they can be re-sent if you lose the chat.
• Payment confirmation — a transaction reference, the amount and the status. Card and UPI details go to the payment gateway, never to us.

We do not ask for your name, address, identity documents, income or family details, and you should not send them.

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 we rely on two grounds. The first is your consent, given when you message us and continue the conversation. The second is that the data is necessary to perform the service you asked for — we cannot draw a plan for a plot whose size we are not allowed to remember.

We share the minimum necessary with the services that make the product work. None of them is permitted to use your data for their own purposes.

We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to builders, contractors, material suppliers or advertisers.

We will disclose data if a court or a law enforcement authority requires it of us under Indian law.

Conversations and drawings are kept for two years from your last message, so you can come back and ask for the file again, or ask for a change to a design you had made earlier. Payment records are kept for eight years because tax law requires it. After that, data is deleted.

You can ask us to delete it sooner. See clause 7.

Data is held on servers in India, encrypted in transit, and reachable only by the people who operate the service. We do not keep card numbers or UPI IDs at all — the payment gateway holds those.

If a breach occurs that affects you, we will tell you and the Data Protection Board as the Act requires.

Under the DPDP Act you may ask us to:

• tell you what data of yours we hold and who we shared it with;
• correct anything that is wrong or out of date;
• erase your data, where we are not required by law to keep it;
• withdraw consent, which stops the service but does not undo what is done;
• nominate someone to exercise these rights if you die or are incapacitated.

Write to [grievance@onehouseplan.com] from the number or address you contacted us on. We answer within 15 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

The service is for adults commissioning building work. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us data, tell us and we will delete it.

onehouseplan.com sets no advertising or tracking cookies. The only thing stored in your browser is your choice of light or dark theme, which stays on your device and is never sent to us.

If this policy changes materially we will post the new version here with a new effective date, and tell you on WhatsApp before it applies to you.
